2020 convertible models at Mercedes-Benz

Now that summer has arrived, we thought we’d take a look at some of the Mercedes-Benz convertible models available to anyone who wants to get the most out of the next few months. There are quite a few Mercedes-Benz models available to you with a removable roof, it all depends on your exact needs.


C-Class Convertible

The C-Class convertible is the gateway to the range of convertibles at Mercedes-Benz.. Available in C 300 4MATIC, C 43 4MATIC and C 63 S variants, it can unpack anywhere from 255 horsepower using the four-cylinder turbo up to 503 horsepower with the twin-turbo V8 in the C 63 S.


E-Class Cabriolet

 

Two versions are available in the E-Class range. The E 450 has a twin-turbo V6 that develops 365 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. 4Matic AWD is standard and the there is up to 385 liters of cargo space in the trunk which means you can actually use your E-Class convertible to head out for a long weekend away from home. The AMG E 53 4MATIC + version has 429 horsepower and EQ BOOST technology channeled by an all-wheel drive specially calibrated by AMG.


SLC and SL Convertible Coupes

 

The SLC and SL convertible coupes offer the sun without the rear seats. The SLC 300 is powered by the turbocharged four-cylinder that develops 241 horsepower and the SL 450 has a twin-turbo V6 that develops 365 horsepower. More powerful AMG variants are also available.


S-Class Convertible

The sumptuous S-Class offers two convertible models, the S 560 and the S 63 4MATIC + AMG. The first relies on a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that develops 463 horsepower and the other uses the same engine, but it develops more than 600 horsepower. The S-Class Cabriolet is the most refined, most comfortable convertible on the market today.


AMG GT convertible

 

The two-seat convertible version of the AMG GT is the pinnacle of a convertible at Mercedes. Powered by the 4.0-liter AMG V8 assembled by hand, it develops 550 horsepower. A 7-speed, dual-clutch SPEEDSHIFT DCT AMG transmission distributes power to the rear wheels.
