2021 Mercedes-Benz C-Class: Three Reasons to Buy a C-Class This Winter

Winter always brings cold temperatures and dangerous driving conditions, but the 2021 Mercedes-Benz C-Class makes driving in the cold season safe and comfortable. Here is how:

Features made for your comfort

Every 2021 Mercedes-Benz C-Class comes standard with a host of features that ensure you will be comfortable all winter long, no matter the temperature. For example, the dual zone THERMATIC climate control system lets you and your front passenger individually choose the best temperature for the air that comes out of the vents on either side of the interior. Additionally, Front heated seats and a heated steering wheel are also standard to quickly warm you up. With the available Climate Comfort front seats, the ventilating feature can be used in combination with the heating in order to dry your clothes and make you even more comfortable. The purchase of a 2021 C-Class also includes 3 years of Mercedes Me connect services, which allow you to start your Mercedes-Benz via your smartphone and let it warm up before you drive off.

A very high level of safety

Mercedes-Benz has long prided itself in making some of the safest cars on the road and the 2021 C-Class in no exception. A multitude of active and passive safety systems work to keep you on the road and in control at all times, even on slippery surfaces. The standard PRE-SAFE system detects when a collision or a rollover is imminent and it takes actions to minimise to risk of injuries to the occupants, such as closing the windows and sunroof, tightening the seatbelts and moving the passenger seat to a safer position. It even plays a “pink” noise over the sound system to cause a natural reaction that protects the eardrums from the loud noises of a car crash. In addition, the standard Active Brake Assist can detects objects in front of the vehicle and alert you so you have more time to react, which is crucial on slippery roads. The brakes also dry themselves periodically when driving in wet weather to ensure the maximum braking force is always available to you.

Standard 4MATIC all-wheel drive

Every 2021 Mercedes-Benz C-Class also comes equipped with the famed 4MATIC all-wheel drive system that gives you confidence during winter driving by making the car more stable when the road is icy and by giving you better traction in deep snow which prevents you getting stuck where two-wheel drive vehicles couldn’t go.
