The next powertrain available with the GLE is in the 450 variant, and it surpasses the Q7’s next option thanks to a six-cylinder 3.0-Litre turbocharged engine with an output of 362 horsepower. The competing Q7 55 TFSI powertrain maxes out at 355 horsepower.

The GLE steps things up with its AMG variants, known for their superior performances and riveting accelerations. The AMG 63 S 4MATIC+ escalates the performance battle all the way up to 603 horsepower with 627 lb-ft of torque. The Q7’s only card left is the SQ7, but it bottoms out at 500 horsepower and 567 lb-ft of torque.

The GLE is the clear winner in the performance department.

The 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLE provides more space and technology

Inside, the 2021 GLE features a superior refinement, along with an astonishing number of technologies that will help you throughout your busy week. It deploys a total of 2,055 litres of cargo space when all passenger seats are folded, that’s more than the Audi Q7, which and only provide 1,971 litres.

Moreover, the GLE features the advanced Mercedes-Benz User Experience system (MBUX), which uses artificial intelligence to assist the driver and passengers with voice command features, advanced navigation and many more features that are unavailable with the Audi Q7.
