Mercedes-Benz is Canada’s best-selling automaker for the sixth consecutive year

Mercedes-Benz had another great year in Canada in 2019, finishing the year with the highest number of sales of any luxury automaker in the country for the sixth time. Mercedes-Benz light trucks saw sales increase 2.1 percent over the previous year with the Mercedes-Benz GLC leading the way with an increase of 20 percent over 2018.
Over half of Mercedes-Benz sales in 2019 were SUVs (58.4 %). The GLC had a great year as we explained previously, but it wasn’t the only luxury SUV in the Mercedes-Benz lineup that saw an increase in sales. The GLE also saw an increase in sales as did the GLA (+3.4 % percent over 2018).
