The 2024 Mercedes-Benz eSprinter Provides Range, Technologies and Capabilities

Mercedes-Benz recently unveiled the new eSprinter - a fully electric variant of the popular cargo van that has been serving businesses for decades. It combines plenty of performance and capabilities in a reliable package that is highly efficient. It includes everything that makes the Sprinter van famous, but is powered by a zero-emission powertrain that offers maximum range and performance.

The latest powertrain technologies under the hood of the 2024 eSprinter
The eSprinter uses the latest electric powertrain technologies. It will initially be offered in Canada in 3500 variant with an extended wheelbase (170 inches). Its battery offers an impressive 113 kWh of usable power, and uses LFP (nickel and cobalt free) technology which is known for its durability. When using a Level 3 fast DC charger, the eSprinter's battery can go from 10% to 80% in only 42 minutes.
The eSprinter can unleash up to 204 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The power is sent to the rear wheels for maximum efficiency. In what is really impressive is that the 2024 eSprinter can travel up to an estimated 304 kilometres on a single charge. That's more than enough to complete any type of delivery.
The 2024 eSprinter is filled with connected technologies
Inside the new eSprinter, you will find the latest version of the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) system, which is displayed on a 10.25-inch screen and equipped with the latest technologies and applications.
Engineers have included a series of function that are specific to electric driving. For example, the navigation system can recalculate the vehicle's range according to the proposed route, taking into account the topographical data of the route. The system also informs the driver how far the truck can travel to return to its starting point on a single charge, taking into account the distance to be covered, but also cargo and changes in elevation on the route.
For fleet managers, the eSprinter offers the possibility to program up to 7 distinct driver profiles, with geo-tracking and individual logbooks for each user.
The eSprinter 2024 offers the best in terms of range, performance and versatility in a fully electric cargo van. It will officially enter the Canadian market in the summer of 2023.
