This state-of-the-art ISG provides crucial support to the combustion engine, especially when operating at low speeds. By joining forces with the turbocharger, this sophisticated combination delivers an unparalleled driving experience with exceptional power output.

Furthermore, the 48-volt electrical system enhances the hybrid's efficiency by incorporating numerous energy-saving features. These innovative functions include coasting, boosting and energy recovery, which enable the vehicle to optimize energy consumption intelligently. Another standout feature of this advanced system is the ISG's role in ensuring a seamless and comfortable engine start. The ultra-fast and smooth start/stop function is nearly imperceptible to the driver, ultimately contributing to an elevated driving pleasure.

The GLC Coupé also boasts a remarkable enhancement in aerodynamics, achieving a minimal drag coefficient as low as Cd = 0.27 in its most aerodynamic configuration. This figure represents a notable improvement of three hundredths compared to its predecessor, which had a drag coefficient of Cd = 0.30. The engineering team behind the GLC Coupé employed advanced digital flow simulations (using computational fluid dynamics or CFD) alongside meticulous aeroacoustic wind tunnel testing to optimize the vehicle's design. A more luxurious interior

The all-new interior of the latest GLC Coupé boasts a contemporary and athletic design, which comes standard with the cutting-edge AMG Line package. Significant enhancements elevate the driving experience, starting with the impressive 12.3-inch (31.2 cm) high-resolution LCD screen situated in front of the driver. This state-of-the-art display seemingly hovers above the distinct wing profile and trim surface, enriching the overall aesthetic. Similarly, the 11.9-inch (30.2 cm) central display emerges from the center console, giving the illusion of floating above the trim surface. 

The enhanced dimensional design and pragmatic details of the new GLC Coupé contribute to its striking, muscular appearance and day-to-day usability. Measuring 4,763 mm in length, the vehicle is now 31 mm longer and 5 mm taller than its predecessor, lending a more poised stance on the road. Moreover, the increased track widths of 1627 mm at the front (a 6 mm increase) and 1640 mm at the rear (a 23 mm increase) bolster the vehicle's stability and handling prowess.

The GLC Coupé is now more than ready for extensive road trips or everyday errands, thanks to a generous increase in cargo capacity - from 545 litres (a 45-litre improvement) to an impressive 1,490 litres (a 90-litre increase) when required. Enhancing the accessibility to this spacious trunk is a standard automatic tailgate, providing ease of use and further elevating the vehicle's overall practicality.
